This is the Naranjo with the gloves off. The "El Chorro" section serves up class IV and V rapids, which puts it among the most challenging whitewater in the entire country. If you want intense, here it is.
Expect exploding whitewater, steep drops, tight rock walls, and technical lines that demand your full attention, this is not the one to cut your teeth on. Your guide will be a genuinely experienced one, threading you through narrow canyons packed with huge boulders and cascading waterfalls, all of it wrapped in gorgeous rainforest.
Pull it off and it'll be the highlight of the whole trip, no contest. For thrill-seekers 15 and up who know what they're signing up for.
