Horseback Riding - Mountain Tour

Trade the road for a saddle and head up into the Cerro Nara mountains. This ride takes you through primary and secondary rainforest, across creeks and alongside rivers, with plenty of chances to spot wildlife as you go. Partway through there's a beautiful waterfall where you can climb down and take a swim.

This is a genuine family-run project, just 10 miles from Manuel Antonio, tucked in the gorgeous biological corridor of the Naranjo River, so you're supporting local folks who actually live and work this land.

It's easy to bring the kids: little ones 4 and under ride free with a parent or a guide, and children over 5 can have their own horse if the parents are up for it, always a calm, gentle one picked just for them.
